Our Instructors

Stephanie Greco

is a Los Angeles based yoga teacher that specializes in Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. She is the resident yoga teacher at the Waldorf Astoria and Montage Beverly Hills and also teaches group classes at YogaWorks and Equinox.

Born and raised in South Florida, Stephanie began practicing yoga when a career in the performing arts led her nearly 3,000 miles from home to California. Searching for stillness amidst the hustle and chaos of such a big city, yoga became an essential part of her daily life. Bringing peace during a time of great transition and turmoil, yoga was a grounding force that propelled Stephanie into a journey of self-discovery, healing and transformation.

Her style is alignment based with a strong focus on breath and body awareness. Stephanie believes yoga is for everybody and incorporates philosophy, breath work and meditation into her classes. She feels that yoga is a gift and is honored to be able to share it with others.

Carmen Guerrero

Originally from Mexico City, Carmen Guerrero began her journey into Yoga in 2006.

A passionate student of the yogic arts, Carmen seeks to nurture an increased understanding of movement, a sparkle of awareness in each student’s eyes, and the potential for rejuvenation of both body and mind. She is a 500 E-RYT Yoga Works Certified Teacher based in Los Angeles who also holds a Therapeutic Yoga Certification.

Carmen Guerrero

Originally from Mexico City, Carmen Guerrero began her journey into Yoga in 2006.

Ashley Rideaux

Ashley Rideaux is a Los Angeles–based, 500 E-RYT YogaWorks Certified Teacher Trainer, lover of life, and professional giggler who rocks big hair, a big smile, and an even bigger heart.

In addition to the strong following she has built in LA, she leads trainings, workshops, and retreats all over the world. Ashley’s classes are challenging and playful, ranging from therapeutic work to advanced Vinyasa flow. She is a brand ambassador for Lululemon Athletica and has been featured in yoga ad campaigns in Yoga Journal, LA Yoga, and Om Yoga Magazine. All of her classes are a balance of the physical and the philosophical, inviting the body and mind to unfold through her detail to alignment, breath, and meditation.

Alyssa Grace Magsano

Alyssa Grace Magsano is a yoga instructor, dancer, writer, and traveler living in New York City. She has trained at The National Ballet School of Canada and Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Culture, and Communications with a minor in Creative Writing. She is a 200 RYT certified teacher through Yoga to the People and currently teaches at Sweat Yoga and hOM in New York City.

Alyssa spends her days practicing yoga, writing, and drinking way too much coffee, as well as finding ways to give back to the community through her developed understanding of yoga instruction. With an eye for adventure and a heart full of gratitude, she chooses to stay passionately curious and is eager to explore all corners of our rare and beautiful world. After her adventures, she settles at her home in Brooklyn, New York.

Ashleigh Doede

Ashleigh Doede is 500 hour E-RYT YogaWorks Certified Teacher, Teacher-Trainer and YACEP with additional training in Urban Zen Integrative Therapy, Reiki levels 1&2, and 25 hours of Therapeutic Yoga. In addition, she is a professional dancer and teacher of dance. She also trains in the aerial arts.

Yoga came into Ashleigh’s life after a minor injury from dance in 2006. While she had to refrain from dancing for several weeks, yoga not only offered a low impact form of physical therapy to stay in shape, but also an opportunity for her to find a mental and emotional balance. Ashleigh has kept her yoga practice since, and through intuition, felt that becoming a teacher would give her the opportunity to share the benefits and transforming effects of yoga. She loves teaching a strong vinyasa flow with detailed attention to alignment while offering creative expression to her students. She also specializes in teaching therapeutic and restorative yoga.

Kerrie Cason

Kerrie is a certified yoga teacher thru YogaWorks and is E-RYT 500, YACEP certified with Yoga Alliance. Her style of teaching ranges from the very beginner to the most experienced yogi. Her style is hatha and vinyasa flow with a focus on alignment and listening to your bodies needs.

Kerrie takes the time to work with her students, helping them discover their strengths in addition to providing a safe place to allow them to work through their injuries. She encourages them to move towards a stronger practice using breath, movement and alignment. Kerrie has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching for over 13; she brings the knowledge of her teachers, multiple trainings and her experience with her.

Katya Warner, Founder

In 2016, Katya ventured on a solo trip around the world, practicing yoga in each destination. Inspired by the people and places she met along the way and grateful for the connecting thread of yoga, Katya created Travel Soul Yoga as an offering of her inspiration.

Katya plans the details of each retreat with love and attention. She previews locations, restaurants, and activities, and take classes with each Travel Soul Yoga teacher.

A former school teacher, Katya is working on bringing the experience of travel and yoga to students in low-income communities in New York and Los Angeles.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What styles and levels of yoga are practiced on the retreat?
One of the highlights of taking part in a Travel Soul Yoga retreat is personalized yoga practice. Our teachers are trained in a variety of styles including Vinyasa, Hatha, and Ashtanga yoga, and tailor instruction to the requests of students on the retreat. All levels of yoga are welcome and encouraged!

2. What is covered in the price of a retreat?
Travel Soul Yoga includes hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, airport transfer to and from the retreat location, cultural tours, and daily yoga and meditation practice in the price of your retreat.

3. What is not covered in the price of a retreat?
Airfare, travel insurance, lunches, dinners, and gratuities are not included in the price of your retreat.

4. When should I arrive/depart a retreat?
Once you have registered and paid your deposit, Travel Soul Yoga will send you an email with information about your retreat including flight time recommendations and scheduling details.

5. How do I register?
You can register for your retreat online on the retreat page or by calling us at +1 929.224.4257. In order to hold your place on a retreat, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration.

6. What is your cancellation policy?
If you choose to cancel your retreat you must notify Travel Soul Yoga in writing at info@travelsoulyoga.com. Upon receiving your cancellation notification, cancellation will be in effect. Cancellation is subject to the following: If cancellation takes place before the final balance due date of your trip, any payments made will be refunded except your nonrefundable deposit. If cancellation takes place after the final balance due date, 100% of the retreat price will be forfeited. Payments are non-transferable. Any amount forfeited which has not been paid is a debt due and payable to Travel Soul Yoga. Travel Soul Yoga reserves the right to refuse a participant the right of participation on a retreat for any reason.
